Round 1
Dustin connects with a hard punch making "Late Bloomer" bring him in to a tight clinch. "Easter Surprise" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Gabe Carter drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Barber sets a guillotine choke but Gabe Carter slips out at the last moment. Gabe Carter is now caught in guard. Carter tries to pass guard but Barber stops him with a well timed punch. Carter dodges a few strikes from Barber and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Barber is starting to bleed over his left eye. "Easter Surprise" locks a triangle but Gabe Carter defends well. "Easter Surprise" decides to let go of the hold. Dustin fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Carter. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Carter fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Barber to the cage. Barber swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Dustin Barber is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from "Late Bloomer" while utilizing the guard. Dustin attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but "Late Bloomer" is too quick and takes half guard. Carter is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Dustin gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Easter Surprise" starts to wiggle out of back control, Carter lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Barber connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A looping right hook from "Late Bloomer" sends Dustin Barber to the mat. The round comes to an end.

Gabe connects with a series of punches forcing "Easter Surprise" into a clinch. Dustin works to "Late Bloomers" back while standing. Dustin throws a couple of outside shots until Carter is able to work his way back to the clinch. Gabe Carter lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch.Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Barber takes Gabe Carters back standing. Barber lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Carter is able to work his way back around. Gabe Carter attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Dustin pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Gabe catches "Easter Surprise" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Easter Surprise" gather himself. "Easter Surprise" says he is ok and the fight continues. Both fighters begin to exchange Dustin Barber catches "Late Bloomer" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Late Bloomer" gather himself. "Late Bloomer" says he is ok and the fight continues. Carter connects with a jab cross combination. Barber takes down "Late Bloomer", but remains standing over him. "Easter Surprise" drops a huge strike to Gabes chin, landing into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
Carter connects with a hard jab as "Easter Surprise" attempts a wide outside hook. "Easter Surprise" connects with a jab cross combination. Both fighters begin to exchange Barber catches "Late Bloomer" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Late Bloomer" gather himself. "Late Bloomer" says he is ok and the fight continues. Carter throws a push kick. "Easter Surprise" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "Late Bloomers" nose. Round 5 comes to a close.
