Round 1 Stevenson connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Rogers shoots but Maurice Stevenson stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. Maurice lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Rogers gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Stevenson peppers shot to the head of Jon looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Jon is hand playing well. Stevenson peppers Jon with several shots to the face. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Rogers parries Maurice Stevensons jab and connect with a cross. Jon Rogers feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Stevenson. Jon Rogers dives into guard. Jon dodges a few strikes from Maurice Stevenson and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Jon pushes down Maurices leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Jon wraps the arm of Maurice Stevenson behind his back and traps it. Jon pounds away with shots to the face. Maurice holds the head of Jon close to avoid shots. Jon slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Rogers hits Maurice with some punches to the side of the head. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Jon Rogers fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Maurice Stevenson quickly takes his back. Jon tries to explode out the backdoor but Maurice Stevenson sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Jon falls flat to protect himself. Jon Rogers slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Jon Rogers is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Maurice Stevenson slides his knee across the body of Jon and takes full mount. Jon attempts to buck Maurice Stevenson off from mount but Maurice Stevenson keeps his base and maintains position. Rogers bucks off Maurice Stevenson and sweeps him over to his back getting into his half guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Maurice Stevenson throws a push kick. Jon shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Stevensons nose.

Round 5 Stevenson throws a push kick. Jon shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Stevensons nose.
Jon ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Maurice and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Rogers circles Maurice Stevenson, mixing jabs with body shots. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. The round comes to an end.
