Round 1 Abe lands a double jab. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Devon Marrero works to Turners back while standing. Devon Marrero throws a couple of outside shots until "Raw Ham" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Turner hip tosses Devon over with an underhook, landing into half guard. Marrero tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Abe tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Devon Marrero connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Turner connects with a series of punches forcing Devon Marrero into a clinch. Turner takes the back of Devon who works for a kimura. Turner pulls his arm out of the hold and push Devon away. Marrero eats a strong cross as "Raw Ham" moves into the clinch. Turner lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. A rising hip toss puts Marrero under Abes side control. Devon takes a few knees to the body while under Abe Turners side control. Abe slides his knee across the body of Devon Marrero and takes full mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Devon Marrero eats a strong cross as Abe Turner moves into the clinch. Turner works to Devons back while standing. Turner throws a couple of outside shots until Devon Marrero is able to work his way back to the clinch. Turner executes a sweeping throw, planting Devon on the mat. Abe lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Devon Marrero almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Turner slides his knee across the body of Devon and takes full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Both fighters begin to exchange Abe catches Marrero with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Marrero gather himself. Marrero says he is ok and the fight continues. Abe connects with a hard punch making Devon bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Abe Turner works to Devon Marreros back while standing. Abe Turner throws a couple of outside shots until Marrero is able to work his way back to the clinch. "Raw Ham" reaches over the shoulder of Marrero and sets in a kimura. He rolls it over but has to release the hold, landing in half guard. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "Raw Ham" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Devon. Abe pressures his opponent into clinching. Abe is jockeying for position in the clinch. Devon Marrero goes for a hip throw of his own, but Turner is able to counter it, sending Devon Marrero to the ground. "Raw Ham" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Abe lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Turner lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 5 comes to a close.
