Round 1
Christopher lands a double jab. Du Plessis connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Fred. "Ozymandias" connects with a series of punches forcing "King Of The Ring" into a clinch. Du Plessis breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. "Ozymandias" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "King Of The Ring" to the cage. "King Of The Ring" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Christopher Du Plessis stands up with Fred Ward still holding guard. As Fred Ward releases his guard Christopher Du Plessis spins to a kneebar but it is too shallow. Christopher Du Plessis takes couple of shots to the head. The fighters scramble to standing position. A trip to the ground allows Fred to move into the guard of "Ozymandias". Fred attempts to spin to a kneebar but "Ozymandias" is ready for it. He twists out and scramble to side control. Du Plessis lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Fred gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Christopher Du Plessis fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "King Of The Ring". Ward receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Du Plessis takes Wards back standing. Fred isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Du Plessis lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Fred to release. A looping right hook from Christopher Du Plessis sends "King Of The Ring" to the mat. Christopher Du Plessis stands over Fred, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Fred is able to grab an arm and pull Christopher Du Plessis into his guard. Christopher Du Plessis takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Fred Wards guard. It doesn't pay off as Fred makes his way to standing. "King Of The Ring" is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Du Plessis pulls out of the guard of Ward, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Ward. Two strong elbows from "Ozymandias" dazes Fred Ward. "Ozymandias" transitions into side control. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Fred Ward circles Christopher Du Plessis, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Ward fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "Ozymandias" quickly takes his back. Ward carefully protects himself from "Ozymandiass" strikes. Fred Ward starts to wiggle out of back control, Christopher Du Plessis lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ward connects with a strong right hook. Ward lands a hook to the body. Christopher Du Plessis ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Fred to the mat, and his back.Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Christopher Du Plessis connects with a right that puts "King Of The Ring" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Christopher Du Plessis towers over him. Christopher Du Plessis attempts to drop a fist on Fred, but misses and lands in his guard. "Ozymandias" takes advantage of a mental laps from Fred Ward and moves into full mount. Fred gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Fred tries to explode out the backdoor but Christopher Du Plessis sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Fred falls flat to protect himself. Christopher begins to look for a rear naked choke, but "King Of The Ring" rolls to being mounted instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
"Ozymandias" connects with a hard punch making Ward bring him in to a tight clinch. Fred works Du Plessis into the cage from the clinch. Fred presses his head under Christopher Du Plessiss chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Christopher dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Fred standing over him. "King Of The Ring" attempts to drop a fist on "Ozymandias", but misses and lands in his guard. Christopher begins to posture on his side. Ward lands a couple of outside hooks and Christopher returns to the guard. "Ozymandias" connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Ward drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "Ozymandias" throws his leg over for a tight armbar from the bottom. Fred Ward has to tap.
