Round 1 Ishihara connects with a hard right hand putting Juan on the mat. Ishihara goes down with him into side control. Kohaku Ishihara slides his knee across the body of Juan and takes full mount. Kohaku maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Castro gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Kohaku tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Castro carefully protects himself from Kohakus strikes.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ishihara connects with a hard jab as Juan attempts a wide outside hook. Kohaku Ishihara connects with a series of punches forcing Juan into a clinch. Kohaku Ishihara places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Juan Castro drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Kohaku Ishihara sets a guillotine choke but Juan Castro slips out at the last moment. Juan Castro is now caught in guard. Ishihara sinks a deep kimura, but Juan Castro slides out. This gives Ishihara the chance to switch to half guard. Kohaku Ishihara sneaks his legs through and uses butterfly guard defense. Castro is launched in the air but maintains balance in his opponents guard. Ishihara fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Juan. Castro tries to pick up Kohaku for a powerbomb, but Kohaku releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Kohaku lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Castro. Ishihara throws a hard jab but Castro throws a cross right over the top rocking Ishihara. Kohaku Ishihara catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Castro. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Ishihara presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Castro, aggressively pulling guard. Castro attempts to pass Kohakus guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Kohaku Ishihara connects with a series of punches forcing Juan Castro into a clinch. Ishihara works Juan Castro into the cage from the clinch. Ishihara presses his head under Castros chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Kohaku takes Juan Castros back standing, but Castro isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Kohaku squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Kohaku Ishihara hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Castro. Juan Castro connects with a strong body shot combo. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Kohaku hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Castro. Kohaku takes Juan Castro down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Juan Castro. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Ishihara presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Castro, aggressively pulling guard. Kohaku Ishihara backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
