Round 1 Virtanen sends Bo to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Jussi attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Tang slips out of it at the last moment. Virtanen takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Bos guard. It doesn't pay off as Bo makes his way to standing. Jussi hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Bo Tang throws a hard jab but Jussi Virtanen throws a cross right over the top rocking Bo Tang. Jussi shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. "Jay" throws his knee into the ribs of Tang. "Jay" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Virtanen throws a hard jab but Tang throws a cross right over the top rocking Virtanen. A trip to the ground allows Virtanen to move into the guard of Tang. Virtanen pushes down Bo Tangs leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Virtanen tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Tang throws a cross that easily dodged by "Jay". The fighters circle each other. Bo throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Jussi puts Bo on the mat giving his back up. Virtanen lays into Bo with some strong shots forcing Bo to give up mount position. Tang attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Jussi Virtanen secures his position. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Bo winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Bo Tang throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Virtanen puts Bo Tang on the mat giving his back up. "Jay" lands a series of heavy punches forcing Bo Tang to roll to his back, giving "Jay" mount. Tang attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Bo Tang pulls his leg out from under Jussi Virtanen and gets back to half guard. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "Jay" presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Bo Tang, aggressively pulling guard. Bo Tang tries to move to half guard but Jussi Virtanen uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Jussi Virtanen goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Bo slips out at the last second. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
