Round 1 Kyo connects with a strong body shot combo. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kyo attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Herod who lands in his guard. Kalil mixes up a series of head and body shots until Kyo Sano pulls him tight into his guard. Kalil Herod attempts to strike with a double-axe handle but Kyo Sano is able to switch him to mount.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kalil lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Kyo attempts to grab the plum but Herod takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Kyo. Herod dodges a few strikes from Kyo and lands an overhand and a elbow. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 A shot catches Kyo Sano off balance and off guard. Kalil spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Kalil Herod pushes down Sanos leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Kalil Herod is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Kyo Sano shifts his head and hips to keep Herod off balance and unable to land strikes. Kyo Sano gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Kyo Sano carefully protects himself from Kalil Herods strikes. Herod starts hammering away from dominant back control smashing the head of Kyo into unconsciousness.
