Round 1 After dodging a jab, "The Saad Saad Man" lands a kick to the liver of Julien who steps back only to take a knee. "The Saad Saad Man" rushes forward to capitalize but Julien falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. "The Saad Saad Man" grabs a foot and kicks at Abels thighs. He then backs off and Julien Abel stands back up. Abel is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Saad Nejem lays into Abels thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Abel does so. Julien attempts a striking combination, but "The Saad Saad Man" forces the clinch. Julien receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Nejem. Julien lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Nejem for a trip takedown. Nejem is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Juliens half guard. Saad Nejem slams his knee into Abels ribs. Abel sweeps Saad Nejem over and into his half guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Abel connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Julien Abel gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Saad Nejem tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Abel starts to wiggle out of back control, "The Saad Saad Man" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Julien Abel snaps back the head of "The Saad Saad Man" with a stiff jab. A left high kick from Julien keeps Saad Nejem at bay. Abel ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Saad to the mat, and his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Julien throws a kick to the midsection of "The Saad Saad Man". Saad is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Abel snaps back the head of Saad Nejem with a stiff jab. Saad Nejem circles to the right. Abel hits a hard spinning back kick to the body. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Nejem connects with a hard jab as Abel attempts a wide outside hook. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Saad connects with a jab cross combination. Abel circles "The Saad Saad Man", landing a front snap kick that stuns him. Saad eats a stiff kick to the face. "The Saad Saad Man" connects with a right that puts Julien off balance tumbling to the mat, as "The Saad Saad Man" towers over him. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Abel connects with a hard punch making Saad Nejem bring him in to a tight clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Julien dazed. Abel breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Julien throws a push kick. "The Saad Saad Man" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Juliens nose.
Saad winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The fighters circle each other. "The Saad Saad Man" is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Abel explodes forward with a push kick that puts "The Saad Saad Man" on the canvas. Julien stands over Saad, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Saad cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
