Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ryan Medina receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Gerard escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Gerard Jackson stuffs a shot from Ryan and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Medina tries for a kimura from the bottom. Gerard uses his free hand to connect with several punches and Medina is forced to give up on the kimura. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Jackson connects with a hard punch making Ryan bring him in to a tight clinch. Jackson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ryan recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Jackson catches a leg kick from Ryan Medina, and puts him on the mat. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Medinas guard and Jackson is able to move to half guard. Gerard Jackson tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Medina receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. "The Iron Teabag" grabs the plum and pull Medinas face towards a knee which is blocked. "The Iron Teabag" take the opportunity to drag Ryan to the ground and takes side control. Ryan tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. Ryan defends short shots well by turning his head. Jackson attempts to get a leg free and quickly moves into mount position. Ryan gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The round comes to an end.

Round 4
Gerard connects with a hard punch making Ryan Medina bring him in to a tight clinch. Gerard Jackson is in the clinch with Ryan Medina, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Gerard Jackson presses the action while in the guard, but Ryan is able to switch him into mount.Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
"The Iron Teabag" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ryan. Medina is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Medina attempts to grab the plum but Gerard takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Medina. Ryan Medina attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing "The Iron Teabag" the chance to pass to side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
