Round 1 A welt begins to form under Medinas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Golden Boy". Ryan circles "Golden Boy", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Aleron throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Medina. Aleron Couture pushes away from Ryan and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. A welt begins to form under Alerons eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ryan. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. "Golden Boy" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Couture throws a kick to the midsection of Medina. Medina is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Aleron Couture connects with numerous jabs to the face of Medina. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ryan Medina wraps around Alerons waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Ryan slides his knee across the body of Couture and takes full mount. Ryan secures his position. Couture gets pummeled by the fists of Ryan. Couture gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Couture carefully protects himself from Ryan Medinas strikes. Ryan Medina lands a series of heavy punches forcing Aleron Couture to roll to his back, giving Ryan Medina mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Aleron Couture connects with a teep to the face of Ryan. Ryan connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The fighters circle each other. Aleron throws a kick to the midsection of Ryan. Medina connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Golden Boy" throws a teep backing Ryan Medina off. Medina is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Ryan stuffs a shot from Aleron and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Ryan attempts an armbar, but "Golden Boy" stops the attempt. Ryan uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Medina maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Aleron gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Couture carefully protects himself from Medinas strikes. Medina tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 A wild hook from Aleron is ducked by Ryan Medina who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "Golden Boy" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Golden Boy" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Ryan Medina begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Aleron Couture rolls to being mounted instead. Aleron pulls Medina close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Aleron Couture attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
