Round 1 Son fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Mr Sandman". Son places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Clay Foster takes Hongs back standing. Son Hong isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Clay Foster lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Son Hong to release. "Mr Sandman" throws a hard jab but Son throws a cross right over the top that knocks "Mr Sandman" to the ground. Son attempts to drop a fist on Clay Foster, but misses and lands in his guard. Foster moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. "Of" shoots a takedown from a distance putting Clay Foster on the ground. "Mr Sandman" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from "Of". "Mr Sandman" shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Clay Foster dodges a jab and clinches with Hong, delivering a knee as he does so. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Clay places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "Mr Sandman" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Son Hong places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "Mr Sandman" drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Son Hong connects with a right that puts "Mr Sandman" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Son Hong towers over him. Son Hong drops a huge strike to Clay Fosters chin, landing into his guard. "Of" attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. "Mr Sandman" slips out of it at the last moment. Hong takes advantage of a mental laps from Clay Foster and moves into full mount. Clay lands a good elbow as Son lowers his torso. Clay gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Son Hong attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but "Mr Sandman" rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Son Hong punishes Foster with a series of strikes from the mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Hong connects with a hard jab as Clay Foster attempts a wide outside hook. "Of" connects with a hard punch making Clay bring him in to a tight clinch. Foster works "Of" into the cage from the clinch. Foster presses his head under Hongs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Foster uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown. Son defends short shots well by turning his head. Clay Foster attempts to get a leg free to pass but Son has it locked down too well. Foster is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. In the clinch "Mr Sandman" wraps his arm around the back of the head of Son and hip tosses him over to his back with a Koshi Guruma throw. "Mr Sandman" takes side control. "Mr Sandman" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Son for his troubles. "Mr Sandman" slides his knee across the body of Hong and takes full mount. "Mr Sandman" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "Mr Sandman" abandons a ground and pound offense by grabbing the arm and swinging over for an armbar submission. Hong stacks to defend and finally yanks the arm out to take side control. Round 5 is finished.
