Round 1 Oscar ducks a punch and snatches a tight Muay Thai clinch delivering a ruthless knee to the chest followed by a slicing uppercut across the head of Nicolai Kharlamov. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Oscar Mikkelsen grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Kharlamov under the eye. Nicolai receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen grabs the plum and pulls Nicolai Kharlamovs face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Mikkelsen releases the hold and lands an uppercut. Nicolai hits an uppercut to the head of Mikkelsen followed by a hard hook. Oscar Mikkelsen connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Nicolai. Mikkelsen clinches with Nicolai and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Nicolai for a trip takedown, landing Mikkelsen is half guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A wild hook from Mikkelsen is ducked by Kharlamov who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Oscar Mikkelsen connects with a hard punch making Kharlamov bring him in to a tight clinch. Oscar drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Nicolai sets a guillotine choke but Oscar slips out at the last moment. Oscar is now caught in guard. Nicolai Kharlamov connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Oscar Mikkelsen backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Nicolai lands a double jab. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Oscar locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Nicolai. Oscar Mikkelsen receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Nicolai Kharlamov. Oscar Mikkelsen breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Kharlamov connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Nicolai Kharlamov is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Oscar presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Nicolai Kharlamov survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Mikkelsen throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Kharlamov is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Kharlamov parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Oscar drops a powerful fist onto Nicolai Kharlamov. Nicolais eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
