Round 1 Maluma connects with a jab cross combination. Medina connects with a hard punch making Maluma bring him in to a tight clinch. Sarki attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Medina who lands in his guard. Sarki lands an omoplata but Ryan rolls out of it leading both fighters to a stand up. A trip to the ground allows Maluma to move into the guard of Ryan Medina. Medina lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Sarki Maluma tries to move to half guard but Ryan uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Ryan Medina starts to create some distance with his legs, Maluma capitalizes by passing to side control.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Sarki Maluma fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ryan Medina. Sarki receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Ryan drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Maluma sets a guillotine choke but Ryan slips out at the last moment. Ryan is now caught in guard. Sarki Maluma grabs the arm of Ryan while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Maluma goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Ryan slips out at the last second. Sarki Maluma is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Ryan attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Maluma takes the chance to switch Ryan over to mount him. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 A wild hook from Maluma is ducked by Ryan Medina who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Maluma connects with jab cross combination. Sarki connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ryan Medina. Ryan Medina connects with a hard jab as Maluma attempts a wide outside hook. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Maluma connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ryan Medina hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Medina throws a few jabs at Sarki Maluma that miss the mark. A wild hook from Ryan Medina is ducked by Sarki who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Round 5 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Ryan Medina works Sarki into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Ryan Medina presses his head into Sarki Malumas chest, forcing him to the ground. Sarki Maluma pulls Ryan close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces Ryan to pull Maluma close. Ryan is having trouble breathing in Sarki Malumas guard. Sarki Maluma begins to work the rubber guard. Maluma begins to posture on his side. Ryan lands a couple of outside hooks and Maluma returns to the guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
