Round 1 Palmer traps "The Muscle Shark" in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Sherk connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Everett connects with a hard jab as Lamar Palmer attempts a wide outside hook. Everett hits an uppercut to the head of Lamar followed by a hard hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. A wild hook from Sherk is ducked by Lamar Palmer who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After dodging a jab-cross, Lamar Palmer lands a kick to the liver of Sherk who steps back and begins to take a knee. Lamar Palmer rushes forward to capitalize but Sherk stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. "The Muscle Shark" is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. "Brawler" explodes forward with a superman punch that drops "The Muscle Shark" to the canvas. Lamar Palmer cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings "The Muscle Shark" back to his feet. Lamar Palmer connects with a right that puts "The Muscle Shark" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Lamar Palmer towers over him. "Brawler" lays into Everett Sherks thighs with some well timed kicks while "The Muscle Shark" is grounded. "Brawler" hovers over Sherk pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. "Brawler" waves for Sherk to stand up. Lamar ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Sherk and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. "Brawler" blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Everett tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Muscle Shark" receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. While tied up, "The Muscle Shark" is met with a hard uppercut. Palmer feints and follows up with a hard crossto the head of Sherk. Everett Sherk connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Lamar stalks Sherk looking to unload with power shots. Palmer blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Sherk tries to press the action but is met with a jab-cross then an uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Palmer stands over Sherk, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Sherk is able to grab an arm and pull Palmer into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Lamar hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Everett Sherk. "Brawler" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Lamar snaps back the head of Everett with a stiff jab. Palmer throws a cross that easily dodged by Sherk. Palmer parries Sherks jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Everett Sherk. Everett Sherk rolls to his back with Palmer standing over him. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Sherk parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Everett is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. "Brawler" falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Everett Sherk attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Lamar Palmer connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Everett Sherk dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Lamar Palmer standing over him. Palmer lays into Everett with some stomps. Everett can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
