Round 1 "Contortrix" lands a double jab. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Clay Foster is jockeying for position in the clinch. "Mr Sandman" takes "Contortrixs" back standing. "Mr Sandman" lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Greg Cook is able to work his way back around. Foster places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cook works for a kimura while pressing "Mr Sandman" into the corner. "Mr Sandman" spins out to reverse the hold and take "Contortrixs" back standing. He then trips Cook to the floor and gains back control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Greg places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Greg Cook takes the back of "Mr Sandman" who works for a kimura. Greg Cook pulls his arm out of the hold and push "Mr Sandman" away. A trip to the ground allows Foster to move into the guard of Greg Cook. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces Clay to pull "Contortrix" close. Clay is having trouble breathing in Greg Cooks guard. Clay tries to move to half guard but Greg uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Greg Cook starts to lock a triangle. Clay Foster postures up and Clay Foster settles for a few stiff chops to Greg Cooks face. Greg sinks a kimura fromt he bottom but cannot finish. He rolls Foster over to gain mount but Foster is able to achieve half guard with a great scramble. Greg releases the kimura. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Greg Cook lands a double jab. Cook hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Foster. Foster throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Greg puts Foster on the mat giving his back up. "Contortrix" lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Mr Sandman" to roll to his back, giving "Contortrix" mount. Cook maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Cook maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Cook presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Clay, aggressively pulling guard. Cook gets his arm underneath the neck of "Mr Sandman" while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. "Mr Sandman" powers out of the attempted choke. Greg gets his arm underneath the neck of Clay while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Greg applies pressure forcing Clay to tumble over giving Greg mount. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Cook shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Greg Cook slides his knee across the body of Clay and takes full mount. Cook maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Foster gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Contortrix" peppers shot to the head of Foster looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Foster is hand playing well. Greg Cook tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 5 comes to a close.
