Round 1 "Red Beard" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Clyde Carter. Clyde Carter connects with a hard punch making "Red Beard" bring him in to a tight clinch. Clyde Carter takes Scott Bedards back standing. Scott isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Clyde Carter lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Scott to release. Clyde connects with a hard punch making Scott Bedard bring him in to a tight clinch. Scott Bedard works to Clydes back while standing. Scott Bedard throws a couple of outside shots until Clyde is able to work his way back to the clinch. While in the clinch Clyde Carter attempts a knee to the leg of "Red Beard" but is quickly tossed to the ground with a Kouchi Gaeshi technique. "Red Beard" takes side control. Clyde Carter almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "Red Beard" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 A wild hook from Scott is ducked by Clyde Carter who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Both fighters begin to exchange Clyde catches "Red Beard" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Red Beard" gather himself. "Red Beard" says he is ok and the fight continues. Bedard throws a hard jab but Clyde Carter throws a cross right over the top that knocks Bedard to the ground. Clyde kicks at the legs of Bedard and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Bedard to stand. Bedard throws a hard jab but Clyde throws a cross right over the top that knocks Bedard to the ground. Clyde parries Bedards jab and lands an uppercut. Clyde parries "Red Beards" jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Bedard. Bedard rolls to his back with Clyde standing over him. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Clyde is staggered by a jab to the chin. Scott pressures his opponent into clinching. "Red Beard" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Clyde Carter takes Scotts back standing, but Scott Bedard isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura ending up in side mount. Clyde Carter takes a few knees to the body while under Scotts side control. Scott Bedard attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Clyde for his troubles. Clyde is able to get back to full guard. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Scott Bedard throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Clyde. Carter throws a crisp jab, but "Red Beard" slips it and moves in for the clinch. Bedard places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Scott Bedard works to Carters back while standing. Scott Bedard throws a couple of outside shots until Clyde is able to work his way back to the clinch. Bedard is jockeying for position in the clinch. "Red Beard" connects with a powerful knee to the face from the clinch. Carter crashes to the mat.
