Round 1 Juan Castro connects with a hard punch making Del Hill bring him in to a tight clinch. Castro places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Hill takes Castros back standing, but Juan isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Hill squirms out and both fighters end up standing. A trip to the ground allows Del Hill to move into the guard of Juan. Juan locks a triangle but Del Hill defends well. Juan decides to let go of the hold. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces Hill to pull Juan Castro close. Hill is having trouble breathing in Castros guard. Juan Castro starts to lock a triangle. Hill postures up and Hill settles for a few stiff chops to Juans face. Del attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Castro takes the chance to switch Del over to mount him. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters begin to exchange Juan Castro catches Hill with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Hill gather himself. Hill says he is ok and the fight continues. Juan Castro narrowly dodges a cross from Del, but falls catching him in his guard. Juan locks a triangle but Del defends well. Juan continues the attempt but finally decides to let go. Dels face is red from the choke and sits low in the guard to catch his breath. Castro attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Hill narrowly avoids it, but allows for Castro to take mount. Juan maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Juan Castro secures his position. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Del Hill is hit with two hard punches to his face. Del Hill laughs off the punches. Juan Castro connects with a jab cross combination. Del Hill is staggered by a jab to the chin. Del Hill connects with a hard combination sending Juan to the ground. Del Hill follows him down into his guard and continues reigning punches to the head. Referee saves Juan from anymore damage.
