Marco Campos escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A jab from Trentini is blocked and a cross is returned by Marco Campos. "Bringing the Thunder" throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Marco. Marco Campos dodges a jab-cross combo from "Bringing the Thunder" and connects with a front snap kick, sending "Bringing the Thunder" stumbling backwards. Campos throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Trentini. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Campos tries to hyperextend the knee of "Bringing the Thunder" with a kick to the kneecap. "Bringing the Thunder" hops back to avoid it. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Trentini receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Marco Campos. Marco breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Campos lands a double jab. Jose lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Marco. Campos is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Jose Trentini welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Campos back to striking distance. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Marco wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Trentini. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jose lands a powerful knee to the face of Marco Campos. Marco Campos breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Trentini lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Marco switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Trentini.
Campos snaps back the head of Jose with a stiff jab. Marco dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Jose Trentini. Marco Campos parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Jose Trentini drops a huge strike to Marco Camposs chin, landing into his guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Marco lands a solid kick to the front leg of Trentini. Campos connects with a hard punch making Jose Trentini bring him in to a tight clinch. Campos works to Jose Trentinis back while standing. Campos throws a couple of outside shots until "Bringing the Thunder" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Marco works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Marco Campos takes Joses back standing. Trentini isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Marco Campos lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Trentini to release. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Trentini is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Marco shuffles away from Jose Trentinis strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. "Bringing the Thunder" backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Marco Campos connects with a strong right hook. Marco Campos misses with an axe kick that has Trentini back up. Marco Campos just misses with a head kick, grazing Joses skull. Marco Campos keeps Trentini at a distance with some well timed jabs. Campos is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jose Trentini attempts to press in on Campos but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Marco Campos misses with an axe kick that has "Bringing the Thunder" back up. After dodging a jab, Marco lands a kick to the ribs of "Bringing the Thunder" who winces in pain. Marco Campos circles Jose Trentini, then lans a push kick that knocks him to the floor. The bell signals the end of round 5.
