Round 1
"Bloodstain" catches a leg kick from Munakata, and puts him on the mat. Yukio connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Wayne takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Yukio Munakatas guard. It doesn't pay off as Munakata makes his way to standing. Wayne connects with numerous jabs to the face of Munakata. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Wayne Benavidez shoots in for a double leg, hoists Munakata up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Round 2
Benavidez parries Munakatas jab and connect with a cross. Benavidez stuffs a shot from Yukio Munakata and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces Wayne to pull Munakata close. Wayne is having trouble breathing in Munakatas guard. Yukio Munakata attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Benavidez is too quick and takes half guard. Wayne Benavidez is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Wayne Benavidez telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Yukio Munakata gives up his back to stop the attempt. Yukio Munakata starts to wiggle out of back control, Benavidez lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Munakata connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Bloodstain". "Bloodstain" takes down Munakata, but remains standing over him. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Both fighters begin to exchange Benavidez catches Munakata with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Munakata gather himself. Munakata says he is ok and the fight continues. Yukio presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Benavidez, aggressively pulling guard. Wayne takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Munakatas guard. It doesn't pay off as Yukio makes his way to standing. Yukio throws a few jabs at "Bloodstain" that miss the mark. Wayne connects with a hard punch making Yukio bring him in to a tight clinch. Benavidez grabs the plum and tosses Yukio Munakata to the ground. "Bloodstain" hovers over Munakata pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Munakata sends a hard up kick that rocks "Bloodstain". Munakata stands back up. Round 3 is finished.

Round 4
Both fighters begin to exchange Yukio catches Wayne Benavidez with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Wayne Benavidez gather himself. Wayne Benavidez says he is ok and the fight continues. Munakata snaps back the head of Wayne Benavidez with a stiff jab. Benavidez connects with a hard jab as Munakata attempts a wide outside hook. Yukio connects with numerous jabs to the face of Benavidez. The fighters circle each other. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Wayne Benavidez wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Munakata. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
Yukio Munakata connects with jab cross combination. A trip to the ground allows "Bloodstain" to move into the guard of Yukio Munakata. Munakata attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Benavidez is too quick and takes half guard. Yukio Munakata tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. The round comes to an end.
