Round 1 Jon hits an uppercut to the head of Aegerter followed by a hard hook. After dodging a jab-cross, Cedric lands a kick to the liver of "The Man" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Cedric rushes forward to capitalize but "The Man" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Allen is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jon is struck by a ball kick from Aegerter that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Aegerter fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "The Man" quickly takes his back. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Cedric connects with numerous jabs to the face of Allen. "The Man" connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cedric Aegerter. Allen ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Cedric to the mat, and his back. Jon Allen attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Cedric Aegerter rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Cedric shifts his head and hips to keep Jon off balance and unable to land strikes. Allen lands a double punch to the head of Cedric. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Jon hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cedric lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Cedric directs the head of Jon Allen leading to a stiff knee to the face. Cedric Aegerter breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Cedric lands a double jab. Cedric connects with numerous jabs to the face of "The Man". Cedric dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Allen. Cedric Aegerter parries a right jab and lands a beautiful crescent kick, striking the ribs. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Cedric buckles Jon with a kick. Cedric rushes forward to grab a guillotine, then falls to guard. Jon is in trouble but is able to muscles his way out of the choke. Two large hammerfists forces Cedric Aegerter to attempt to shift away from Jon Allen which give Jon Allen the opportunity to move to half guard. Jon is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Jon executes a double hand slap to the ears of Aegerter. Aegerter gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jon tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Cedric slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Aegerter attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. "The Man" takes advantage of the moment taking side control. "The Man" slides his knee across the body of Cedric Aegerter and takes full mount. Cedric Aegerter pulls Jon Allen close to avoid a flurry of strikes. "The Man" telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Cedric Aegerter gives up his back to stop the attempt. Allen peppers shot to the head of Cedric looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Cedric is hand playing well. Allen attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Cedric rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Round 5 comes to a close.
