Round 1 "The Muscle Shark" continually moves away from Reynaldo, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. A trip to the ground allows "El Dorado" to move into the guard of "The Muscle Shark". Lisboa takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Everetts guard. It doesn't pay off as Everett Sherk makes his way to standing. Everett throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Lisboa is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lisboa grabs the plum and tosses Sherk to the ground. Reynaldo Lisboa drops a powerful fist onto "The Muscle Shark". Everett Sherks eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
