Round 1 Eilers tries to hyperextend the knee of Allen with a kick to the kneecap. Allen hops back to avoid it. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Jon Allen hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Allen throws a cross that easily dodged by Lloyd. A lazy leg kick from Jon Allen is caught by Eilers who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Jon Allen. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Lloyd Eilers hits an uppercut to the head of "The Man" followed by a hard hook. "The Man" shoots in on Lloyd Eilers but cannot finish the takedown. Lloyd Eilers lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing "The Man" to roll to his guard. Eilers pulls out of the guard of "The Man", stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of "The Man". Lloyd Eilers presses the action while in the guard, but Jon is able to switch him into mount. Lloyd attempts to buck "The Man" off from mount but "The Man" keeps his base and maintains position. Allen jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 "The Man" connects with jab cross combination. Allen fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Eilers. Allen spikes Eilers into the mat with a powerful slam takedown. Jon sits up and fakes a double axehandle to the face, instead striking the body. Lloyd Eilers pulls Jon close while he regains his breath. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Eilerss guard and Jon is able to move to half guard. Lloyd Eilers is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Two large hammerfists forces Lloyd Eilers to attempt to shift away from Jon which give Jon the opportunity to move to half guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Lloyd Eilers connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Jon connects with jab cross combination. Jon takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Lloyd to hit him harder. Jon Allen parries Lloyd Eilerss jab and connect with a cross. "The Man" throws a few jabs at Lloyd Eilers that miss the mark. "The Man" works Eilers into the cage, swimming for double underhooks. "The Man" presses his head into Lloyd Eilerss chest, forcing him to the ground. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Lloyd throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Allen is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "The Man" connects with a strong right hook. Allens legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Jon shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Eilers. Jon sneaks a foot behind Eilerss leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Jon delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Lloyd to turn over. Jon takes the back. Round 5 is finished.
