Round 1
Fugunaga hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A welt begins to form under Kazukis eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Randall Erickson. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "Senor Rowdy Randy" reaches down and trips Kazuki with a beautiful ankle pick. "Senor Rowdy Randy" dives into side control. Randall wraps the arm of Kazuki behind his back and traps it. Randall pounds away with shots to the face. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Kazuki Fugunaga connects with a hard punch making Erickson bring him in to a tight clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Fugunaga is defended well by Erickson. Fugunaga grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Fugunaga returns to the clinch. Kazuki takes the back of Randall Erickson who works for a kimura. Kazuki pulls his arm out of the hold and push Randall Erickson away. Kazuki Fugunaga is cornered by "Senor Rowdy Randy" who tries to press the action. Kazuki Fugunaga is able to block well and circles away from "Senor Rowdy Randy", delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Randall is struck by a ball kick from Fugunaga that causes him to stumble backwards. Erickson throws a few jabs at Fugunaga that miss the mark. Erickson parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. A solid kick bruises the leg of "Senor Rowdy Randy". The round comes to an end.

Round 3
A trip to the ground allows Randall Erickson to move into the guard of Fugunaga. Kazuki Fugunaga is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Erickson transitions to half guard. "Senor Rowdy Randy" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Randall Erickson throws some outside strikes at Kazuki Fugunaga. "Senor Rowdy Randy" telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Kazuki gives up his back to stop the attempt. "Senor Rowdy Randy" peppers Kazuki with several shots to the face. "Senor Rowdy Randy" works his arm around the neck of Fugunaga attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Fugunaga hand fights well. Fugunaga spins through into the guard of "Senor Rowdy Randy". The round comes to an end.

Round 4
Fugunaga is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Senor Rowdy Randy" throws a cross that easily dodged by Fugunaga. Kazuki snaps back the head of "Senor Rowdy Randy" with a stiff jab. Kazuki Fugunaga keeps "Senor Rowdy Randy" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Fugunaga lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Erickson. Fugunaga then switch kicks Erickson on the opposing rib. Erickson throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Kazuki Fugunaga puts Erickson on the mat giving his back up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
Kazuki is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Randall falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Kazuki is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Erickson takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Kazukis guard. It doesn't pay off as Kazuki Fugunaga makes his way to standing. Randall takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Fugunaga to hit him harder. Randall Erickson connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. An outside leg trip puts Randall Erickson into side control. Randall wraps the arm of Kazuki behind his back and traps it. Randall pounds away with shots to the face. A series of strong hammerfists forces Kazuki Fugunaga to roll over, giving up his back. Round 5 is over.
