Round 1 Cyrano Blaise takes a punch and goes to the mat, Jon Allen pounces into side control. Cyrano Blaise recovers quickly. Jon Allen attempts an armbar, but Blaise stops the attempt. Jon Allen uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Jon maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Cyrano gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jon Allen lands a double punch to the head of Cyrano. Cyrano Blaise eats a few stiff shots from "The Man", and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Jon Allen connects with a series of punches forcing Cyrano Blaise into a clinch. Blaise receieves numerous knees to the thighs from "The Man". A strong elbow forces Jon to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Cyrano stands over Allen, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Allen is able to grab an arm and pull Cyrano into his guard. Cyrano tries to pass guard but Jon stops him with a well timed punch. Allen begins to posture on his side. Cyrano Blaise lands a couple of outside hooks and Allen returns to the guard. Allen lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "Four Two Zero" presses the action while in the guard, but "The Man" is able to switch him into mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Two quick punches opens up Cyrano for a takedown. Jon Allen pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Cyrano on his back. Jon Allen falls into side control. "The Man" attempts an armbar, but "Four Two Zero" stops the attempt. "The Man" uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Jon Allen punishes Cyrano Blaise with a series of strikes from the mount. Blaise gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Allen peppers shot to the head of Blaise looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Blaise is hand playing well. Jon lays into Cyrano with some strong shots forcing Cyrano to give up mount position. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Allen connects with a strong right hook. Blaise winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. After dodging a jab, "Four Two Zero" lands a kick to the ribs of Jon Allen who winces in pain. Allen connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A couple of powerful body shots forces Blaise back to the cage. Jon Allen swims to double underhooks. Blaise cannot stop Jon Allen from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Jon Allen frees a leg and moves into half guard. Jon is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Cyrano Blaise gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 "The Man" arm drags Cyrano Blaise into a double leg takedown, getting half guard. Cyrano defends short shots well by turning his head. Jon Allen attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. Cyrano almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "Four Two Zero" gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Jon spins around to take it, "Four Two Zero" makes his way back to his feet. A trip to the ground allows Allen to move into the guard of Cyrano. Jon Allen dodges a few strikes from Blaise and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Blaise attempts an armbar. Jon Allen time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into "Four Two Zeros" guard. A can opener from Allen opens up Cyrano Blaises guard. Allen lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Round 5 is finished.
