Round 1 Egami sends "The Man" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Jon Allen lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Yoichi takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Allens guard. It doesn't pay off as Jon Allen makes his way to standing. Yoichi hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Allen. Yoichi hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. An outside leg trip puts Yoichi Egami into side control. Egami throws his knee into the ribs of Jon. Jon Allen is wisely defending a kimura. Yoichi attempts to take it but Jon Allen is having none of it, though Yoichi has used the chance the slide into mount.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Jon Allen connects with a hard punch making Yoichi Egami bring him in to a tight clinch. Egami lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Yoichi Egami attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Jon Allen now is in dominant side mount. Yoichi Egami sneaks a leg back under the body of Jon Allen to achieve a defensive half guard. Jon Allen is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Jon punishes Yoichi Egami with a series of strikes from the mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Egami circles "The Man", landing jabs and crosses at will. Egami catches a leg kick from Jon Allen, and puts him on the mat. Egami takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Allens guard. It doesn't pay off as "The Man" makes his way to standing. The fighters circle each other. Jon Allen connects with a series of punches forcing Egami into a clinch. Yoichi Egami takes Allens back standing. Yoichi Egami lifts up "The Man" and dumps him on his back, taking side control. Yoichi lays into Jon Allens thighs with some well timed kicks while Jon is grounded. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Allen connects with a series of punches forcing Yoichi Egami into a clinch. Egami receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. "The Man" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Yoichi Egami sets a guillotine choke but "The Man" slips out at the last moment. "The Man" is now caught in guard. Jon forces Yoichi Egamis leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Jon Allen shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Yoichi Egami. Jon Allen sneaks a foot behind Yoichi Egamis leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Allen slides his knee across the body of Yoichi Egami and takes full mount. Yoichi Egami attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Egami gets pummeled by the fists of "The Man". Egami gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Jon Allen tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Allen slides to the side and spanks the butt of Yoichi in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. The bell signals the end of round 5.
