Round 1
Fredy attempts a jab but is countered by a hard left leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a picture perfect right hand from "Thailand" that knocks him to the ground. Gonzalez grabs a foot and kicks at Fredy Veas thighs. He then backs off and Fredy Vea stands back up. Tiago Gonzalez connects with a right that puts Fredy off balance tumbling to the mat, as Tiago Gonzalez towers over him. "Thailand" kicks at the legs of Vea and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Vea to stand. Tiago Gonzalez connects with a series of punches forcing Vea into a clinch. "Thailand" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Sensei Seagal" lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Gonzalez for a trip takedown. Gonzalez is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Fredys half guard. Fredy Vea defends short shots well by turning his head. Gonzalez attempts to get a leg free to pass but Fredy Vea has it locked down too well. Gonzalez slams his knee into "Sensei Seagals" ribs. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Gonzalez connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Fredy. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Fredy places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Fredy takes Tiagos back standing. "Thailand" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Fredy lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "Thailand" to release. Vea swaying back and forth with Balanco plants front foot while throwing hands and head to the ground like a cartwheel sending the back foot up and over connecting to the head of Gonzalez. A trip to the ground allows "Thailand" to move into the guard of Fredy. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Tiago hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Vea connects with a hard punch making "Thailand" bring him in to a tight clinch. Fredy works Tiago into the cage from the clinch. Fredy presses his head under "Thailands" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Tiago Gonzalez breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Fredy Vea fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "Thailand" quickly takes his back. Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
After dodging a jab, Gonzalez lands a kick to the liver of Vea who steps back only to take a knee. Gonzalez rushes forward to capitalize but Vea falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Tiago Gonzalez kicks at the legs of Fredy Vea and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Fredy Vea to stand. Tiago hovers over Fredy pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Fredy sends a hard up kick that rocks Tiago. Fredy stands back up. Vea connects with a hard punch making Tiago Gonzalez bring him in to a tight clinch. Gonzalez works Fredy Vea into the cage from the clinch. Gonzalez presses his head under Veas chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Fredy lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Tiago Gonzalez for a trip takedown. Tiago Gonzalez is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Veas half guard. "Sensei Seagal" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Tiago slams his knee into "Sensei Seagals" ribs. Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Tiago Gonzalez lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Tiago dodges a jab and clinches with Fredy Vea, delivering a knee as he does so. Tiago shuffles away from Fredy Veas strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Fredy Vea backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. "Sensei Seagal" attempts to clinch, but Gonzalez connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Tiago Gonzalez hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Fredy Vea. "Sensei Seagal" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Round 5 is over.
