Simmons is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Conroy is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Tadhg uses strikes to open Fritzs guard. Tadhg stands up and waves Simmons up. Tadhg connects with a hard jab as Simmons attempts a wide outside hook. Tadhg hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Round 5 comes to a close.
