Round 1 Franklin parries Slaters jab and connect with a cross. Caldwell winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Fritz hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Caldwell throws a hard jab but Fritz throws a cross right over the top rocking Caldwell. Both fighters begin to exchange Fritz Franklin catches Caldwell with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Caldwell gather himself. Caldwell says he is ok and the fight continues. Round 2 "Uhtred" connects with a hard punch making Franklin bring him in to a tight clinch. Slater Caldwell works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Fritz dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Caldwell standing over him. Slater Caldwell attempts to drop a fist on Fritz, but misses and lands in his guard. Franklin connects with several chop shots from the bottom. A right hand from Franklin while in guard angers Slater Caldwell who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Franklin locks a kimura and forces Slater Caldwell to defend. Franklin settles for a couple of cross-body chops to "Uhtreds" temple. Slater opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Slater hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Slater Caldwell throws a push kick. Franklin shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Slater Caldwells nose.
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Fritz escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Slater Caldwell narrowly dodges a cross from Fritz, but falls catching him in his guard. Fritz takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Slater Caldwells guard. It doesn't pay off as Slater makes his way to standing. "Frothy" is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Caldwell attempts to spin to a kneebar but Fritz is ready for it. He twists out and scramble to side control. Slater almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Caldwell is able to get back to full guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 "Uhtred" connects with a series of punches forcing Fritz Franklin into a clinch. Slater is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Slater Caldwell dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Franklin standing over him. Franklin attempts to drop a fist on Slater Caldwell, but misses and lands in his guard. Slater connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Slater goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Frothy" slips out at the last second. Slater locks a kimura and forces "Frothy" to defend. Slater settles for a couple of cross-body chops to "Frothys" temple. While in the guard, Fritz drops a long punch. Caldwell throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Fritz has no choice but to submit.
