Round 5 Tadashi connects with a series of punches forcing Vea into a clinch. Akimoto works to Fredy Veas back while standing. Akimoto throws a couple of outside shots until "Sensei Seagal" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Vea attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Akimoto pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Fredy Vea hits an uppercut to the head of Tadashi Akimoto followed by a hard hook. Akimoto connects with numerous jabs to the face of Vea. Tadashi Akimoto parries Fredy Veas jab and connect with a cross. Tadashi connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Sensei Seagal".
