Round 1
Akimoto keeps Uspensky at a distance with some well timed jabs. Tadashi Akimoto presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Aleksi Uspensky, aggressively pulling guard. Tadashi starts to lock a triangle. Uspensky postures up and starts to stand up. Tadashi lands a stiff upkick, slumping Uspensky back into his guard. Tadashi sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Akimoto secures his position. Tadashi jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Tadashi Akimoto connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Uspensky. Tadashi weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Akimoto connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Diamond in the Rough". Aleksi connects with a hard punch making Tadashi bring him in to a tight clinch. Tadashi places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Aleksi connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Tadashi is dazed on the mat. "Diamond in the Rough" lays into Akimoto with some stomps. Akimoto can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
