Round 1 Mike narrowly dodges a cross from Bakhuizen, but falls catching him in his guard. Lambert takes advantage of a mental laps from Mike Jacobs and moves into full mount. Mike Jacobs gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Mike Jacobs is able to make it back to the standing position. Lambert sends Mike Jacobs to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Bakhuizen drops a few strong punches, opening up Mikes guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Mike gets pummeled by the fists of Bakhuizen. Mike gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Lambert Bakhuizen tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Mike slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Lambert fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Mike. Mike Jacobs receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Jacobs recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Lambert connects with numerous jabs to the face of Mike. Lambert Bakhuizen winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Lambert connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Jacobs. Mike is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Bakhuizen prepares to pounce, but Mike gets his bearings just in time. Bakhuizen lays into Mike Jacobss thighs with some well timed kicks while Jacobs is grounded. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Lambert Bakhuizen fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Mike. Lambert lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Jacobs to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Lambert attempts to drop a fist on Mike Jacobs, but misses and lands in his guard. Mike connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Mike Jacobs fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Lambert. Mike gets his arm underneath the neck of Lambert while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Lambert powers out of the attempted choke. While in the guard, Lambert drops a long punch. Mike Jacobs throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Lambert has no choice but to submit.
