Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Senio Niu circles Jo Gelen, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Senio parries Jos jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Jo. Jo rolls to his back with Senio standing over him. Senio kicks at the legs of Jo and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Jo to stand. Senio Niu blocks a cross, liver shot combo but is pushed backward. Gelen tries to press the action but is met with a jab, cross, uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Niu stands over Gelen, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Gelen cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Senio Niu kicks at the legs of Jo and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Jo to stand. Senio Niu dodges a series of strikes from Jo and counters with a body shot and cross. Senio Niu then backs up and wags a finger at Jo. Niu dodges a hook from Jo Gelen and lands a solid cross putting Jo Gelen unconscious.
