Round 1 Wiltsie comes forward, throwing a short hook that distracts Lukyan Melnikov. Wiltsie then grabs an overhook and uses a small outside-hook throw and takes side control. Robert attempts an armbar, but Melnikov stops the attempt. Robert uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Wiltsie maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Lukyan Melnikov gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Wiltsie peppers Melnikov with several shots to the face. Robert Wiltsie attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Lukyan rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Melnikov throws a cross that easily dodged by Robert. Robert narrowly dodges a cross from "Andrei Arlovski", but falls catching him in his guard. Robert shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Lukyan Melnikov presses the action while in the guard, but Robert is able to switch him into mount. Wiltsie maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Robert secures his position. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Andrei Arlovski" unleashes a flurry of punches on Robert. Melnikov connects with a series of punches forcing Robert into a clinch. Robert attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Lukyan Melnikov standing over him. Melnikov lays into Robert Wiltsies thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Wiltsie does so. Lukyan grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Wiltsie. Lukyan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Robert Wiltsie. Wiltsie places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Lukyan Melnikov attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Robert Wiltsie lands in half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Melnikov connects with a strong right hook. Robert attempts to clinch, but "Andrei Arlovski" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Lukyan is staggered by a jab to the chin. Lukyan Melnikov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Wiltsie. Lukyan Melnikov throws a short elbow at Robert. A strong elbow forces Robert Wiltsie to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Melnikov attempts to drop a fist on Robert, but misses and lands in his guard. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Robert Wiltsie keeps Lukyan at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Andrei Arlovski" circles Robert, mixing jabs with body shots. Lukyan gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Lukyan Melnikov carefully protects himself from Roberts strikes. Lukyan Melnikov starts to wiggle out of back control, Robert lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Andrei Arlovski" throws a cross that easily dodged by Robert. Wiltsie dodges some straight punches from Lukyan and counters with an inner reaping, falling into Lukyans guard as he does so. Round 5 comes to a close.
