Round 1 Acelino Pera connects with a strong right hook. Foster is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Gabriel snaps back the head of "Scotty Belly" with a stiff jab. "Scotty Belly" parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Foster lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Gabriel lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Pera. Foster strikes with a straight front kick. The fighters circle each other. After dodging a jab-cross, Foster lands a kick to the liver of Acelino Pera who steps back and begins to take a knee. Foster rushes forward to capitalize but Acelino Pera stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Foster snaps back the head of Acelino with a stiff jab. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Foster lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Acelino Pera. Acelino circles Gabriel Foster, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Gabriel circles Acelino Pera, landing jabs at will. Gabriel Foster lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Acelino. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Gabriel is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Gabriel can continue. Gabriel Foster gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Foster carefully protects himself from Peras strikes. Foster slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The fighters circle each other. Gabriel Foster lands a hook to the body. Acelino attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Gabriel takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Foster throws a cross that easily dodged by Acelino Pera. Foster attempts a striking combination, but Pera forces the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Gabriel Foster receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Pera. Acelino grabs the plum and pulls Fosters face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Acelino lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Gabriel lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Acelino. After dodging a jab, Acelino lands a kick to the ribs of Foster who winces in pain. "Scotty Belly" loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Gabriel for the mistake. Gabriel has side control. Round 5 comes to a close.
