Round 1 Dirk shoots a takedown from a distance putting Mitch on the ground. Hayes is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. "King Slayer" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Dirk Feldman winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Dirk connects with a hard jab as Hayes attempts a wide outside hook. "King Slayer" attempts to press in but Dirk Feldman uses a inside reaping to put "King Slayer" on the canvas. Dirk Feldman hops to side control. "The Blood Dragon" throws his knee into the ribs of Mitch Hayes. A knee to belly allows "King Slayer" to twist from his back, pulling Dirk off balance. "King Slayer" then switches him to guard and stands up. "King Slayer" allows Dirk to stand. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Feldman gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Feldman tries to explode out the backdoor but Mitch sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Feldman falls flat to protect himself. Dirk Feldman starts to wiggle out of back control, Mitch lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "King Slayer" reaches down and trips Feldman with a beautiful ankle pick. "King Slayer" dives into side control. Mitch Hayes slides his knee across the body of "The Blood Dragon" and takes full mount. "King Slayer" punishes "The Blood Dragon" with a series of strikes from the mount. Mitch secures his position. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Mitch ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Dirk to the mat, and his back. Mitch tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Dirk Feldman starts to wiggle out of back control, Hayes lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Feldman is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Mitch. Mitch now has side control. "King Slayer" attempts an armbar, but "The Blood Dragon" stops the attempt. "King Slayer" uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Mitch maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Hayes lands a double punch to the head of Dirk. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Dirk dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Hayes winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "King Slayer" attempts a striking combination, but Dirk Feldman forces the clinch. "The Blood Dragon" takes Mitchs back standing. "The Blood Dragon" lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Mitch Hayes is able to work his way back around. Hayes works to Feldmans back while standing. Hayes throws a couple of outside shots until "The Blood Dragon" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Feldman lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Dirk hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Mitch Hayes. The fighters circle each other. Hayes throws a crisp jab, but Dirk slips it and moves in for the clinch. Feldman works to Hayess back while standing. Feldman throws a couple of outside shots until Mitch Hayes is able to work his way back to the clinch. Dirk places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Dirk takes Mitch Hayess back standing. Mitch begins to isolate an arm but Dirk executes a trip which puts him in half guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
