Round 1 Shane connects with a strong right hook. Shane circles Hideo, landing jabs at will. The fighters circle each other. Hideo is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 2 Hideo wraps around Shanes waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Kase slides his knee across the body of Shane Scott and takes full mount. Hideo Kase secures his position. Shane gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Kase tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Kase attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Shane rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Shane fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hideo. Hideo Kase receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. While tied up, Hideo is met with a hard uppercut. Hideo is staggered by a jab to the chin. Scott circles Kase, mixing jabs with body shots. Shane Scott parries Hideos jab and connect with a cross. Hideo is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Shane explodes with a flurry of punches. Hideo is then thrown to the floor. Scott lays into Hideos thighs with some well timed kicks while Hideo Kase is grounded. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
