Round 1 Drew Wright snaps back the head of Gutierrez with a stiff jab. Gutierrez keeps Wright at a distance with some well timed jabs. Drew Wright ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Gutierrez and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Tito Gutierrez takes a punch and goes to the mat, Drew pounces into side control. Tito Gutierrez recovers quickly. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gutierrez is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Drew Wright. Drew Wright now has side control. Drew Wright attempts an armbar, but Tito Gutierrez stops the attempt. Drew Wright uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Drew punishes Tito Gutierrez with a series of strikes from the mount. Tito Gutierrez gets pummeled by the fists of Wright. Tito Gutierrez gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Drew Wright tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Drew peppers Tito Gutierrez with several shots to the face. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Gutierrez is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Wright explodes with a flurry of punches. Gutierrez is then thrown to the floor. Drew Wright drops a huge strike to Tito Gutierrezs chin, landing into his guard. A right hand from "Long Beachs Finest" while in guard angers Drew who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Wright drops a few strong punches, opening up Titos guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Wright punishes Gutierrez with a series of strikes from the mount. Gutierrez gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Drew Wright lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Long Beachs Finest" to roll to his back, giving Drew Wright mount. Wright throws some outside strikes at Tito. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
