Round 1 Rogers circles Diego Meira, landing jabs at will. Diego connects with a series of punches forcing Mason Rogers into a clinch. Diego lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Diego places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Meira attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Mason pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Rogers ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Diego and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Mason connects with a strong right hook. Diego Meira circles Mason Rogers, landing jabs at will. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Meira plows through Mason Rogers with a driving double leg takedown. Rogers is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Diego. "Primitivo" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Mason Rogerss guard. It doesn't pay off as Mason makes his way to standing. The fighters circle each other. Diego circles Rogers, landing jabs and crosses at will. "Primitivo" stuffs a shot from Mason Rogers and lands several shots to his body. Mason Rogers attempts to pull guard but "Primitivo" makes it to side mount. "Primitivo" drops some hammer fists on Rogers. Diego Meira drops some hammer fists on Mason Rogers. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Diego Meira sends Rogers to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Diego Meira drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Diego Meira takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Masons guard. It doesn't pay off as Mason makes his way to standing. Diego Meira connects with a strong right hook. Mason throws a cross that easily dodged by "Primitivo". "Primitivo" rushes in grabbing an overhook. He then shoots his opposite arm beneath the overhook, falls back and tumbles, cartwheeling Mason Rogers through the air with a beautiful japanese whizzer and takes side control. Meira throws his knee into the ribs of Mason. Mason gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.
