Round 1
A single-leg attempt is well defended by Wood. Dave Morin stands up, lifting the leg of Wood and executing a trip takedown. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Andy Wood from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Dave Morin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Woods guard. It doesn't pay off as Andy Wood makes his way to standing. Wood takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The fighters circle each other. An outside leg trip puts Dave Morin into side control. Dave Morin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Andy Wood gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Andy receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Andy Wood recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Morin attempts a takedown, but Andy Wood clumsily falls down without much provocation. Morin drops a huge strike to Andy Woods chin, landing into his guard. Dave Morin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Woods guard. It doesn't pay off as Wood makes his way to standing. A couple of powerful body shots forces Wood back to the corner. Morin swims to double underhooks. Wood cannot stop Morin from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Dave Morin dodges a few strikes from Wood and lands an elbow followed by a hammerfist. A right hand from Wood while in guard angers Dave who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Dave Morin connects with a strong right hook. Dave Morin circles Andy, mixing jabs with body shots. Dave circles Andy Wood, mixing jabs with body shots. Morin throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Andy. Andy sends Dave to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
