Round 1 Cox circles Alexandre, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Cox sends Alexandre to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Fontana is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Derrell pushes down Alexandres leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Cox is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Fontana gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Alexandre Fontana starts to wiggle out of back control, Derrell lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Derrell Cox circles Alexandre Fontana, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Fontana attempts a shot, but Derrell Cox stops it with a series of punches, leaving Fontana KOed on the mat.
