Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Dave Morin places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Morin attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Ivanov pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Dave Morin snaps back the head of Misha Ivanov with a stiff jab. Misha Ivanov narrowly dodges a cross from Dave Morin, but falls catching him in his guard. Dave Morin drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Dave Morin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Ivanovs guard. It doesn't pay off as Misha makes his way to standing. Dave snaps back the head of Misha Ivanov with a stiff jab. Dave eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Misha Ivanov. Ivanov attempts to press in but Morin uses a inside reaping to put Ivanov on the canvas. Morin hops to side control. Dave Morin is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ivanov connects with a series of punches forcing Morin into a clinch. Morin decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Misha with him. Ivanov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Dave Morins guard. It doesn't pay off as Dave Morin makes his way to standing. Misha narrowly dodges a cross from Morin, but falls catching him in his guard. Dave Morin drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Ivanov goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Dave Morin slips out at the last second. Misha connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. The round comes to an end.
