Jascha attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Melnikov lands in half guard. Melnikov tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Round 2 Lukyan Melnikov lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "Soviet Crusher". Jascha Cherkasov attempts a striking combination, but Lukyan forces the clinch. "Soviet Crusher" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Melnikov standing over him. Melnikov lays into Jascha Cherkasovs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Jascha Cherkasov does so. A left high kick from "Andrei Arlovski" keeps Cherkasov at bay. Melnikov connects with a series of punches forcing Jascha Cherkasov into a clinch. "Andrei Arlovski" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Melnikov stomps the feet of Cherkasov. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Jascha Cherkasov lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Lukyan. Jascha attempts to clinch, but Melnikov connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Two quick punches opens up Jascha for a takedown. "Andrei Arlovski" pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Jascha on his back. "Andrei Arlovski" falls into side control. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Melnikov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Jascha. An attempt at a clinch takedown from "Andrei Arlovski" is defended well by Jascha Cherkasov. "Andrei Arlovski" grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. "Andrei Arlovski" returns to the clinch. "Andrei Arlovski" grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Jascha. "Soviet Crusher" eats a stiff kick to the face. Lukyan Melnikovs legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Lukyan Melnikov lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Jascha. Lukyan Melnikov is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Jascha Cherkasov tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Lukyan Melnikov that puts him on the floor. "Andrei Arlovski" drops a powerful fist onto "Soviet Crusher". Cherkasovs eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
