Round 1 Howard circles Caron, landing jabs at will. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Robert, but Jared Howard is able to muscle through for a takedown. Caron connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Robert Caron gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Howard drops an elbow onto the forehead of "PhilCam". "PhilCam" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Jared Howard drops an elbow onto the forehead of Caron. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Robert lands a solid kick to the front leg of Jared. Howard circles "PhilCam", landing jabs at will. Robert Caron is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Jared. Jared now has side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Jared circles Caron, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Jared Howard ducks and weaves through a quick combo from "PhilCam" and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Jared executes a single leg giving him the back of "PhilCam". Howard lands a series of heavy punches forcing Caron to roll to his back, giving Howard mount. Caron lands a good elbow as Howard lowers his torso. Caron gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 3 is finished.
