Round 1 James is staggered by a jab to the chin. Billy James circles Vic Twitty, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Billy James connects with a right that puts Vic off balance tumbling to the mat, as Billy James towers over him. "The Crisco Kid" lays into Vics thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Twitty does so. "The Crisco Kid" connects with a right that puts Twitty off balance tumbling to the mat, as "The Crisco Kid" towers over him. "The Crisco Kid" kicks at the thighs of Vic. "The Crisco Kid" lays into Vics thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Twitty does so. Billy is staggered by a jab to the chin. Vic ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Billy James lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Twitty connects with a series of punches forcing James into a clinch. "The Crisco Kid" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Vic Twitty. Vic Twitty grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Billy James under the eye. Vic grabs the plum and pulls Billys face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Vic lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Vic fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Billy James. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Vic Twitty is defended well by James. Vic Twitty grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Vic Twitty returns to the clinch. Vic Twitty grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts "The Crisco Kid" on the floor. Vic Twitty kicks at the thighs of Billy James. Twitty lays into Jamess thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "The Crisco Kid" does so. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "The Crisco Kid" sends Vic to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "The Crisco Kid" pulls out of the guard of Twitty, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Twitty. James drops a few strong punches, opening up Vics guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Vic gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Billy tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Twitty starts to wiggle out of back control, Billy lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Billy James escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Vic Twitty is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. James lays into Twitty with some stomps. Twitty can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
