Round 1 Griffin grabs for a clinch but Brett grazes him with an uppercut. Griffin staggers back, then surprises Brett with a powerful superman punch. "Decom" executes a single leg giving him the back of Louie. Griffin carefully protects himself from Bretts strikes. Louie Griffin slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Griffin circles "Decom", mixing jabs with body shots. Louie takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Watson shoots in on Griffin but cannot finish the takedown. Griffin lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing Watson to roll to his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Watson throws a short elbow at Griffin. While tied up, Louie is met with a hard uppercut. Watson eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Louie. Brett Watson snaps back the head of Griffin with a stiff jab. "Decom" ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Louie and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Louie is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. "Decom" explodes with a flurry of punches. Louie is then thrown to the floor. Watson lays into Louies thighs with some well timed kicks while Louie Griffin is grounded. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Griffin takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Brett Watson throws a cross that easily dodged by Louie Griffin. Watson ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Louie Griffin to the mat, and his back. Brett Watson lands a series of heavy punches forcing Griffin to roll to his back, giving Brett Watson mount. Brett Watson throws some outside strikes at Louie Griffin. Brett Watson throws some outside strikes at Griffin. The bell signals the end of round 3.
