Round 1 Sanders stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Troy lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Raul takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Sanderss guard. It doesn't pay off as Troy makes his way to standing. Raul circles Troy Sanders, landing jabs at will. Raul Lima parries Sanderss jab and connect with a cross. Two quick punches opens up Troy for a takedown. Raul Lima pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Troy on his back. Raul Lima falls into side control. Lima lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Lima attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Troy for his troubles.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Raul circles Troy, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Raul takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Raul Lima ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Troy Sanders to the mat, and his back. Troy tries to explode out the backdoor but Raul sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Troy falls flat to protect himself. Sanders slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle each other. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Sanders circles Lima, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Troy Sanders parries Rauls jab and connect with a cross. Lima throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Troy puts Lima on the mat giving his back up. Troy Sanders lands a series of heavy punches forcing Lima to roll to his back, giving Troy Sanders mount. Raul Lima pulls Troy Sanders close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Lima gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 3 is finished.
