Round 1 Bobby Brown is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Maurice. Maurice now has side control. Maurice Stevenson slides his knee across the body of "The Bitch Beater" and takes full mount. Maurice secures his position. Maurice telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Bobby Brown gives up his back to stop the attempt. Maurice Stevenson tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Bobby starts to wiggle out of back control, Stevenson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Maurice fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "The Bitch Beater". "The Bitch Beater" has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes Maurice Stevenson down to the mat, landing in great side control. Maurice takes a few knees to the body while under Browns side control. Brown slides his knee across the body of Maurice and takes full mount. Bobby Brown maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Stevenson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brown works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Stevenson goes for a hip throw of his own, but Bobby Brown is able to counter it, sending Stevenson to the ground. Bobby lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Stevenson takes a few knees to the body while under Browns side control. Stevenson gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Maurice connects with a series of punches forcing Bobby Brown into a clinch. Brown is jockeying for position in the clinch. "The Bitch Beater" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Maurice circles Bobby, mixing jabs with body shots. Brown throws a cross that easily dodged by Stevenson. Bobby takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Brown is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Maurice explodes with a flurry of punches. Brown is then thrown to the floor. Maurice drops a huge strike to Browns chin, landing into his guard. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Stevenson fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "The Bitch Beater". Maurice Stevenson lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Bobby Brown recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. A looping right hook from Maurice sends Brown to the mat. Maurice drops a huge strike to Browns chin, landing into his guard. Maurice Stevenson takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Bobbys guard. It doesn't pay off as Bobby makes his way to standing. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Bobby Brown. Maurice Stevenson stands up, lifting the leg of Bobby Brown and executing a trip takedown. Maurice dodges a few strikes from Bobby Brown and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Bobby Brown is starting to bleed over his left eye. Two strong elbows from Maurice dazes Bobby Brown. Maurice transitions into side control. Round 5 is finished.
