Round 1 White unleashes a flurry of punches on Garcia. Garret gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Garret White carefully protects himself from Garcias strikes. Garret slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The fighters circle each other. Ignacio ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Garret and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. White circles "El Hombre", landing jabs and crosses at will. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Garret White attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Ignacio pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Ignacio parries Garret Whites jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Garret White. Garret White rolls to his back with Ignacio standing over him. "El Hombre" drops a huge strike to Garret Whites chin, landing into his guard. Ignacio Garcia takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Garrets guard. It doesn't pay off as Garret makes his way to standing. White stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Garret White is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Garcia. Garcia forces Garret Whites leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ignacio connects with a series of punches forcing Garret into a clinch. Ignacio Garcia throws a short elbow at Garret White. Garret dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Garcia standing over him. Ignacio attempts to drop a fist on Garret White, but misses and lands in his guard. White shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. While caught in Garrets guard, Garcia gets hit with a vicious elbow. Garret dodges some ground strikes from "El Hombre", and sends a few back of his own. Garret White attempts to create some space from his guard, but Ignacio sees the opening and passes to full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
