Round 2 Heath lands a devastating overhand right on Fadeyka. After dodging a jab-cross, Heath lands a kick to the liver of Fadeyka who steps back and begins to take a knee. Heath rushes forward to capitalize but Fadeyka stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Ward takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Pletnyov circles Heath, landing jabs and crosses at will. Ward takes a punch and goes to the mat, "Dong Chugger" pounces into side control. Ward recovers quickly. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Fadeyka Pletnyov is staggered by a jab to the chin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch.
