Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Heath lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Heath escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Heath lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Heath Ward counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. A jab from Hideo Nagumo is blocked and a cross is returned by Heath Ward. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Heath counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Hideo Nagumo is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Nagumo is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 3 Heath Ward weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Nagumo circles Heath, landing jabs and crosses at will. Ward lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. "Son of a Sumo" parries Heath Wards jab and connect with a cross. Ward is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Hideo prepares to pounce, but Ward gets his bearings just in time. The round comes to an end.
